The Gentlemen Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: follows Eddie Horniman as he expands his criminal empire internationally alongside Susie Glass, leading to a dark path of ambition, deadly betrayals, and a shocking family conspiracy.

Season 2 of The Gentlemen spin-off was Great.

Pros: This season has evolved its world-building & its characters. I like how this season veers from its main narrative into something much darker. Also, it evolves Eddie into someone a lot colder & more ruthless. The twists & turns involve the empire in something else. It delivered on its tension and drama. The newest characters add much to this season’s story & the finale sets up how all the characters will go in season 3.

Cons: Freddy felt like a different character this time & his presence wasn’t that seen throughout the season; I felt the long length of the episodes very exhausting to watch.
