The plot: Grappling with his violent past, Robin Hood finds himself gravely injured after a battle that he thought would be his last. He soon gets a chance at salvation when he meets a mysterious woman and a young girl.
This film was Good.
Pros: I’m impressed how darker the tone got throughout. Hugh Jackman works as a much older & regretful Robin Hood. It’s delivered getting us a deconstruction of Robin Hood. The other standout was Jodie Comer’s Sister Brigid. This shows how much regret and plan shown by Jackman facial expression. how it doesn’t fallback on the violences and deaths. & also works because it felt like a smallest film to me.
Cons: They kill off Little Jon in just to shock people. His enemies didn’t add to the story. The darkness on the screen were difficult to see. & The difficulty watching Robin Hood on Screen.
