Plot: Science teacher Ryland Grace wakes up on a spaceship with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory slowly returns, he soon discovers he must solve the riddle behind a mysterious substance that’s causing the sun to die out. As details of the mission unravel, he calls on his scientific training and sheer ingenuity — but he may not have to do it alone.
This film was Very Good.
Pros: I like how it sped in and out of Ryland Grace’s journey. Ryan Gosling was fun as the lead of this movie. Many of the heart-wrenching moments between Ryland and Allen Rocky felt charming. How it was all shot on film wonderfully. The plot is really simple to follow, and the ending surprised me because I went into this knowing nothing about the plot.
Cons: I didn’t know anything about the supporting characters. It does skip through moments & that it.
