The plot: The story of pop superstar Michael Jackson — from his extraordinary early days in the Jackson 5 to the visionary artist whose creative ambition fuels a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world.
I was looking forward to this film about this man.
This film was mid bag.
Pros: Jaafar Jackson did look and sound like Michael Jackson. I like how they shown a lot of Micheal’s iconic Songs. Miles Teller was quite good as John Branca. On how they depict Joseph as the villain. A lot of his songs are beautifully well recreated. I love the loving bond between Micheal and his family members except from Joseph. And how the musical performances were handled.
Cons: Micheal’s brothers didn’t have many standout moments on screen. It feels like the beginning was rushed. The flow of the film felt quite basic. It failed to deliver working in a lot of Micheal’s history in this film and the ending didn’t feel like a true ending too me.
