Plot: A mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports a neighborhood to someplace unknown. The Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.
This film was disappointed / fun.
Pros: I enjoyed the family of Denise, Greg, Audrey & Brian as they are trying to survive. I like how they immediately go into dinosaurs causing trouble and being terrifying. The dinos jump scares did made me jump. There were pretty amounts of suspense. Anna Hathaway and Ewan McGregor each works as this film loving parents. It delivered on the messaging of a survival situation is enough to bring everyone together.
This movie was what Jurassic World Dominion should’ve been.
Cons: The neighbourhood girl didn’t work for me. There was so many dumb decisions the characters do that were so stupid. Adding time travel subplot felt like a cowardly way to get away from the dinosaurs. That dog looks not that good. And the ending should have been more of a payoff.
