Cross Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: follows DC homicide detective/psychologist Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge) pursuing a ruthless vigilante targeting corrupt billionaires. Amidst lingering guilt, Cross faces new threats, complex relationships, and a conspiracy involving magnate Lance Durand, while his partner John Sampson explores his own past.

Season 2 of Cross was Good.

Pros: A lot of the supporting cast & villain had more time to breathing room here. Aldis Hodge was still great as Alex Cross. Matthew Lillard works as a calm compelling presence. At times I was invested in what’s happening. Jeanine Mason’s Rebecca was so good making you both care for her and despise her as well. I like the family scenes feal authentic and the ending was awesome.

Cons: It struggles to juggle too many storylines going on at once. The pacing can get unnecessarily convoluted. The FBI came of as assholes and the finale skip through weeks apart.
