You Season 3 (2020) Review Writeen By Ryan Balkwill

Synopsis: In the third season, Joe and Love are married and raising their newborn son, Henry Forty Quinn-Goldberg, in the fictitious Californian suburb of Madre Linda. As their relationship dynamic takes a new turn, Joe continues to repeat the cycle of obsession with a burgeoning interest in Natalie Engler, the next door neighbor. This time, Love flips the script to ensure that her dream of having the perfect family will not be torn away so easily by Joe’s compulsive actions. However, after Love takes care of the Natalie problem, Joe turns his obsession to Marienne, a librarian who shares a troubled childhood in the foster system. Further complicating Love and Joe’s relationship, Natalie’s stepson Theo falls head over heels for Love.

Season 3 of You was Very Good.

Pros: I do like how this season depicts love and how much it effects joe and love relationship. I enjoy this being set in a suburban neighbourhood. It did get intense within moments of the season. Marienne was my favourite side character this season. Sherry & Cary were a comical pair. The main mystery was obvious but also captivating to see developed and this season took me 3 days to finish watching it.

Cons: The storyline involving love and Theo I didn’t like and I work for me. It wasn’t that well-paced in my opinion and there was not that lot of killing at all.
