Plot: Tragedy strikes when Heathcliff falls in love with Catherine Earnshaw, a woman from a wealthy family in 18th-century England.
This film was disappointing.
Pros: The production design was good for the castles & vibrant areas. I enjoyed the soundtrack. I enjoyed Hong Chau’s performance & the two leads were very committed to being attractive and a lot of sex.
Cons: I didn’t feel any romantic energy from the two main characters. It shows too much of style over substance. Margot Robbie & Jacob Elordi try their best but not enough for their adult versions. The story failed to connect with me & also failed to deliver this new adaptation.
