Plot: A computer security analyst working for the U.S. government finds his daily life disrupted by an alien attack. Accustomed to dealing with virtual threats, his struggle extends to secrets the government may be hiding.
This remade was a total Disaster.
Pros: The premise can be promising having it all done in screen life technology. Iman Benson & Henry Hunter Hall the ones that played his kids were fine & I did feel for some of drama happening going on in the movie.
Cons: Ice Cube is totally recast & terrible in everyway. The motivations for the aliens for what they doing is ridiculous. I didn’t like the effects and the dialogue. It felt like a huge amazon advertisement with the amount they mentioned amazon. I didn’t appreciate how they used the government as the main bad guys of the movie. and the twist didn’t felt organic or didn’t work for me.
This was the worst adaptation I ever seen.
