Twisted Metal Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: It takes place seven months after the end of last season, and focuses on the Twisted Metal tournament, with new and old faces competing.

Season 2 of Twisted Metal was great.

Pros: This season focus on his wilder & more unpredictable mayhem. John & Quiet relationship explored further. Mayhem was my favourite new character. I surprised how much death they did for Axel. Stu complete his character act. Well done keep delivering on its comedy & action. The stunt car races were all done practically & the best part is how the cast interacted with each other.

Cons: It took a while to get this season at the beginning. Calypso didn’t do nothing fiscal. I didn’t like the deaths didn’t fell meaning & At times it does get kind of silly.

Though John has always wished for family and community, he struggles to connect with his sibling who he has no memory of.

Stephanie Beatriz
Quiet
A ferocious, badass car thief who acts purely on instinct – you couldn’t stop her any more than a manhole could stop a volcano. In Season 2, her determination reaches new heights as she sets her sights on victory in the Twisted Metal tournament, aiming to make the Divided States of America a better place for Outsiders. Though she shares a deep bond with John, their reunion is strained by unspoken emotions, conflicting goals, and a young challenger who may just be Quiet’s undoing.

Joe Seanoa (Body)
Will Arnett (Voice)
Sweet Tooth
A hilarious and terrifying hulk of a man, who is as emotional as he is cunning. A lover of chaos, this majestic rage-filled killer dons an ever-smiling clown mask and drives his infamous doomsday ice cream truck. in Season 2, Sweet Tooth embraces the carnage, thriving in the blood-soaked spectacle of the Tournament as he pursuess his ultimate goal: to become the most famous murderer in the Divided States of America.

Anthony Carrigan

The enigmatic, unpredictable host and creator of the Twisted Metal tournament, Calypso invites all assassins, vigilantes, mercenaries and joyriders to participate in his contest, with the promise of making their greatest wish come true.

Recurring

Tiana Okoye
Dollface
Dollface is the leader of the Dolls, a gang of masked women who seek justice for those on the Outside. With a penchant for violence, and often seen in wild couture, Dollface galvanizes her followers with her fiery disposition and heart on her sleeve.

Richard de Klerk
Mr. Grimm
An unkempt man with dark circles under his eyes, Mr. Grimm’s withering frame holds within him the souls of his victims that have kept him company while he’s been in captivity.

Patty Guggenheim
Raven
A cunning and persuasive leader of New San Francisco. Raven holds herself like the most powerful person in the room…because she is; it’s revealed Raven even has multiple look-alikes (including “Raven” from season one) while pulling the strings as she puppeteers from behind the scenes.

Michael James Shaw
Axel
Aptly named, this dude is, literally an indestructible moving vehicle — a shirtless mountain of a man with impressive pecs mounted on gigantic wheels. Axel is a roaring force to be reckoned with, and has the arrogance to back it up…but underneath he hides a terrible secret and a forlorn past.

Saylor Bell Curda
Mayhem
A chatty, lying, teenage con-artist, Mayhem still has plenty to learn when it comes to surviving, but has potential considering she’s made it this far. Having been alone her entire life, Mayhem makes a connection in the tournament that may change her life, but only if she can survive the contest first.
