The Thursday Murder Club Movie Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: Elderly amateur sleuths attempt to solve a murder. One was a spy, one was a nurse, one was a trade union official and one was a psychiatrist.

This movie was very good.

Pros: I like it stretches out the main “who done it” plot line so it work persistently. The four leads worked well together Ron, Elizabeth, Ibrahim & Joyce prospectively. Chris Columbus’s directive directions really help elevate this film into a success. The humour works for the most part. Good too is Tom Ellis have a central part of the storyline. It had a lot of big-name talent involved and how its shows you can do anything when your 80, 85 or 90.

Cons: The main story does feel familiar. Many of my assumptions who did these crimes didn’t turn out to be true. The killer himself came off useless and seeing this does make you fell old.
