The Recruit Season 1 (2022) Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: A fledgling CIA lawyer gets caught up in a dangerous game of international politics when a former asset threatens to expose the nature of her relationship with the agency unless they clear her name.

Season 1 of The Recruit was really good.

Pros: I like this flesh new take of this spy genre putting a rookie in the firing line working for the CIA. Lester & Violet were a fun comedic pair. It does promise dispense & dramatic tension throughout. Noah Centineo was so good as Owen Hendricks. The humour worked when he his on assignments. Laura Haddock’s max meladze also enjoyable as well and I just watch this season for the 3rd time.

Cons: Some side plots didn’t add up. Lack of any atmosphere to fight against & That’s it with the problem I had with this season.
