Plot: Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr becomes a police officer like his legendary father and must save the police department from shutting down by solving a case.
This film was hilarious!.
Pros: The main plot is simple to follow. I gives thumbs up to the slapstick & slide gas Bowker comedy this film provided. Liam Neeson was very good as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. & Pamela Anderson did a surprising job as the love interest. I like how they made this a love letter to those other films by paying tribute to the late actors. The cameos did surprise me & seeing this has made my first introduction to this franchise a success.
Cons: Those that haven’t seen the other films might get this film style of comedy. Some gags didn’t work for me. Its pacing doesn’t slow down & A lack of sensibility.

Additionally, Jason MacDonald appears as Simon Davenport and Priscilla Presley makes a cameo appearance reprising her role as Jane Spencer-Drebin, the wife of the late Frank Drebin and mother of Frank Drebin Jr.
I highly recommend watching this film.
