Plot: After defeating the Reverse-Flash once and for all, the 13-episode Season 9 picks up one week later following their epic battle, and Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen are reconnecting and growing closer than ever before. But when a deadly group of Rogues descend on Central City led by a powerful new threat, The Flash and his team—Caitlin Snow, Meta-Empath Cecile Horton, the light-powered meta Allegra Garcia, brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk, and reformed cryogenics thief Mark Blaine—must once again defy impossible odds to save the day. But as The Rogues are defeated, a deadly new adversary rises to challenge Barry Allen’s heroic legacy. And in their greatest battle yet, Barry and Team Flash will be pushed to their limits, in order to save Central City one last time.
The Final Season of the flash was a mixed-bag.
Pros: I’m glad they limited the amount of episodes this time around. Having episodes with returning heroes was so fun. I’m invested into the final 4 episodes with the storyline involving Eddie Thawne and the negative speed force. The final moments with both Barry, Iris and the rest of Team Flash were a joyful way to end the show on.
Cons: I didn’t care for what’s happening to the rest of team flash this season. Certain characters are being missed out of this season. You can skip through most of the forgettable episodes so you can get to the better ones. I felt like this season dipped in quality and that being it stopped being fun to watch.
