Plot: Pryce Cahill was headed for golf greatness when an on-course meltdown derailed his career; struggling to stay afloat, he goes all in to mentor Santi a teenage phenom with high potential and maybe save himself.
Season 1 of Stick was Really Good.
Pros: The underdog style storytelling worked quire well grounding it in reality. Peter Dager worked being that coming of age underdog of the show. Owen Wilson was great as a mentor to the main lead. Some jokes did made me laugh. Getting major golfing personalities help to add instead of abstracting & how the series chose to ends on a happy note.
Cons: I could of do more with Timothy Olyphant’s character. Santi’s absentee father came too late into the series near the end and the overall series not that same level as ted lasso.
