The plot: After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

I was really looking forward to this sequel.

Across The Spider-Verse was a good time.

Pros: This movie felt like a Gwen Stacy Story instead of Miles which is not a bad thing. I loved all the different animation styles to go with each spider like character’s world. I loved all the fan service for Spidey fans out there. The one that impressed me was spider-punk. It’s both thrilling and touching and there’s surprises that excite me to look forward to for the next instalment.

Cons: There were too many spider people to keep up with who’s who. I agree that this one felt like not a complete movie. Miles story gets side-tracked and it’s spoilt by a ton of the main focal point of this film in the trailers.

The Voice Casts:

I highly recommend watching this sequel to anyone who loved the first movie.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Stars
