Plot: On a remote coastal island, a former assassin living in self-imposed exile rescues a young girl from a deadly storm. As their lives start to intertwine, he must protect the orphan while battling enemies from his past.
This movie was fine.
Pros: Jason Statham is believable as always. The little girl Jessie I had more sympathy in this one. The setting looks gritty & real. The action kicks a lot of asses. I’m surprised of the cast it assembled & the ending did feel heartbreaking.
I wasn’t that bothered when this film was predictable.
Cons: The pacing was a bit of a slow burn at the beginning. His main character Michael Mason feels like all the other roles he played. MI6 betrayal felt no different to other times in movies or shows. It rushed through moments and the film is predictable & serviceable.
