Running Point Season 1 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: A reformed party girl must prove herself as a businesswoman when she’s unexpectedly put in charge of her family’s pro basketball team.

Season 1 of Running Point was quite entertaining.

Pros: Kate Hudson was so good as the lead character of this series. I did like how she was into the task of managing a pro basketball team called “Waves”. A lot of the comedy was amusing. I’m glad seeing Brenda Song on my screen again playing a new character. When they do quick take into the next scene every time and also, I like seeing all of how the inner workings of this basketball league is operated.

Cons: There hasn’t been any development for the main “Waves” teammates. At times it did get over dramatic involving his brothers and I hope this series doesn’t get cancelled after this season.
