Prime Video’s We Were Liars Season 1 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: The Sinclairs are American royalty known for their good looks, old money and enviable bond; after a mysterious accident changes Cadence Sinclair’s life forever, everyone, including her group of friends, seem to be hiding something.

Season 1 of We Were Liars was good.

Pros: I was surprised how much there were lies throughout this series. The relationship between all four siblings felt genuine & real. I was surprised of the twist and turns it took & I also like how they flip back and forth in between summer 16 & 17 that have to do with the main narrative.

Cons: The drama with Bess, Carrie & Carrie came off dramatic and forced. The parents are bad people. They stretched the series too long and the pacing were slow.
