Plot: The fourth and final season finds Jack Ryan on his most dangerous mission yet. As the new CIA Acting Deputy Director, Jack is tasked with unearthing internal corruption. As he investigates, Jack discovers the convergence of a drug cartel with a terrorist organization, ultimately revealing a conspiracy much closer to home and testing our hero’s belief in the system he has always fought to protect.

The final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan was Really Good.

Pros: John Krasinski still manages to still kill it as the lead character. I was impressed how Michael Peña did well. Mike November was a lot funnier this time around. It does deliver on the action, drama & suspense that you expected and the ending for the final season of this show was quite surprising.

Cons: I didn’t expect this last season to be quite as short compared to the previous seasons. The low episode count for this series and I felt also the ending in the courtroom did feel underwhelming.

Casts & Characters:

Recurring:

  • Adam Bernett as Patrick Klinghoffer (season 4), Ryan’s colleague in T-FAD.
  • John Schwab as Thomas Miller (seasons 4)
  • David Bedella as U.S. President Charles Bachler (season 4)
  • Derek Cecil as Senator Henshaw (season 4)
  • Michael McElhatton as Bill Tuttle (season 4)

Guest:

I highly recommend watching the other 3 seasons before seeing this season all available on Prime Video.

Rating: 8.5 out of 10 Stars
