The plot: Thirty-five years after the shocking murders of three teens, an infamous killer returns on Halloween night to claim a fourth victim. When 17-year-old Jamie comes face-to-face with the masked maniac, she accidentally time-travels back to 1987. Forced to navigate the unfamiliar culture, Jamie teams up with her teenage mother to take down the psycho once and for all.
The new slasher movie call Totally Killer was Pretty Good.
Pros: This movie knows what its wants to be and sticks to the typical slasher genre. Kiernan Shipka’s performance was great. I did like the way they kept the time travelling simple and basic, it also shares a lot of similarities with Back to the Future and Scream.
Cons: The premise itself didn’t feel new or creative. The grown-up versions of Blake, Lauren & Chris didn’t work compared to their teens versions, and sadly this movie was not all that great.
