The plot: A martial artist-in-training believes she must save her older sister from her impending marriage. After enlisting the help of her friends, she tries to pull off the most ambitious of all wedding heists in the name of independence and sisterhood.
The Polite Society Movie was Good but not great.
Pros: The main lead was very likeable. I liked her sidekicks. I enjoyed the depiction of Indian culture and the fight choreography worked very well.
Cons: The screen lighting did distract my viewing of this film. The camera refused to stay still( I watched it on my phone), and the plot gets a bit boring and predictable.
The Casts:
- Priya Kansara as Ria Khan / The Fury, a teenage martial arts enthusiast aspiring to be a stuntwoman.
- Ritu Arya as Lena Khan, Ria’s older sister

- Akshay Khanna as Salim, Raheela’s son and Lena’s fiancé
