Plot: In season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.
Season 2 of Peacemaker was Good.
Pros: I was invested into Chris’s emotional journey throughout after what happened last season. John Cena are still good as Peacemaker. It does make you simplify and disagreed with Rick Frag St. throughout. I‘m glad it maintained its humour and energy. Peacemaker’s friends were more fun to watch this time around. I like they used pocket dimensions this season. Sasha Bordeaux surprised me how I enjoyed her. Plenty of WTF moments & it insane cliffhanger shown at the finale.
Cons: I find the new open Title Sequence wasn’t that great than last time. Its pacing did felt slow at times. There certain characters didn’t blow my mind & how the finale do suffered from James Gunn’s outlandish approach.

Casts & Characters:
- John Cena as Chris Smith / Peacemaker: A jingoistic vigilante who believes in achieving peace at any cost. Cena also portrays another version of Peacemaker from an alternate universe.
- Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo: The daughter of former A.R.G.U.S. director Amanda Waller and a member of the 11th Street Kids (Team Peacemaker)
- Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase / Vigilante: A self-proclaimed crimefighter who looks up to Peacemaker like an older brother
- Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt: An A.R.G.U.S. agent, member of Team Peacemaker, and Peacemaker’s love interest
- Steve Agee as John Economos: An A.R.G.U.S. agent who provides tactical support for Team Peacemaker
- Robert Patrick as August “Auggie” Smith / White Dragon: Peacemaker’s racist father who was killed by him in the first season
- Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr.:
The former leader of the Creature Commandos who took over as the director of A.R.G.U.S. He is angry about the death of his son, Suicide Squad leader Rick Flag Jr., at the hands of Peacemaker in the film The Suicide Squad (2021). Showrunner James Gunn said Flag Sr. and Peacemaker have “unfinished business to take care of”, and Flag Sr. is basically the antagonist of the season. Gunn enjoyed evolving the character in the DC Universe (DCU) from his introduction as a protagonist in the animated series Creature Commandos (2024–present). Flag Sr. has dark hair in the season, rather than grey hair as in Creature Commandos, because Grillo was filming the series Tulsa King (2022–present) simultaneously with Peacemaker and Gunn felt temporary hair dye would not look good. His in-universe explanation was that Flag Sr. dyed his hair due to vanity and ego. - Sol Rodríguez as Sasha Bordeaux
- Tim Meadows as Langston Fleury: An A.R.G.U.S. agent
- Michael Rooker as Red St. Wild: The world’s foremost eagle hunter who is on a mission to kill Eagly
Additionally, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, and Sean Gunn reprise their respective roles as Kendra Saunders / Hawkgirl, Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, and Maxwell Lord from the DCU film Superman (2025). Nhut Le reprises his role as Judomaster from the first season, while David Denman, Anissa Matlock, Taylor St. Clair, Dorian Kingi, and Brandon Stanley have been cast in undisclosed roles. Peacemaker’s pet bald eagle, Eagly, returns from the first season.
I recommend watching this season as well than the first one on Sky catch up.
