The plot: Thirty years of service leads Maverick to train a group of elite TOPGUN graduates to prepare for a high-profile mission while Maverick battles his past demons.

The Top Gun Maverick movie was so good.

Pros: I didn’t need to watch the original film before seeing this new one. Every actor was on the top of their game in this film and there was no bad acting in my opinion. The aircraft flight sequences do make you pumped up with excitement. The one plotline that got me was Pete , learning to let go of his past (which is shown in flashbacks) and  I left feeling happy and very pleased with myself for watching this film.

Cons: I think I could of had a better experience of the film in the cinema a year ago, but I didn’t use that opportunity. Unfortunately I didn’t like and admire the film as much as everyone else did.

The Casts:

Anthony EdwardsMeg Ryan, as well as Aaron and Adam Weis appear as the Bradshaw family in archive footage from Top Gun, along with Kelly McGillis as Charlotte “Charlie” Blackwood.

I highly recommend watching this movie.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars
