Palm Royale Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: Maxine Is left a social pariah after a scandalous public breakdown. She’ll haxe to draw on her deep well of cleverness and cunning to prove once and for all that not only does she belong, but she might have what it takes to rule his town.

Season 2 of Palm Royale was disappointing.

Pros: It successfully continuing the world building what the first season sets up. I’m impressed of the opening credits. Kristen Wiig still works as Maxine and I like her chemistry with other girls. Plenty of the dialogue comes off hilarious in certain moments & how It does succeed building tenson, drama & amazement.

Cons: The 3rd act as dropped what it was building up towards. I didn’t follow along their soap opera style of storytelling. Too many boyfriends drama that doesn’t go nowhere. The plot does drag thin & the finale left me more questions than answers.
