Only Murders in the Building Season 5 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: The plot of Only Murders in the Building season 5 centers on the investigation into the death of Arconia doorman Lester, a mystery that pulls Charles, Mabel, and Oliver into the world of mob power struggles in New York City. The investigation forces the trio to leave the Arconia to follow clues, encountering a cast of new suspects, including a group of billionaires, while also exploring Lester’s past and finding evidence of his death being connected to both the “old mob” and “new mob”.

Season 5 of Only Murders in The Building was a disappointing.

Pros: The three leads are still a convincing and entertaining trio. I did like it betrayed doormen. I like a lot of the interesting between cast members & how the mob was integral role in the season story.

Cons: The newest characters like Sebastian, Jay, Camila, Althea & Major Tillman didn’t hide anything of merit this season. The mystery this time got complicated as it went around. The revealed of who done it didn’t make any sense and didn’t add to the season & this season felt it lost its formula.
