The plot: Best friends Sophie and Agatha find themselves on opposing sides of an epic battle when they’ve swept away into an enchanted school where aspiring heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance between good and evil.

This Movie was surprisingly good.

Pros: I was surprised how well everyone treat this film and its source material seriously. I like the story of this film and the way it was executed. I love the friendship blossoming between Sophie and Agatha throughout. Rafal was a Good Villain. I like the setup of the world-building and I don’t mind seeing the world again in a possible sequel.

Cons: I didn’t like the bickering from the other students. I didn’t like the film’s humor. The costumes are too outrageous & The last act got very predictable and competitive.

Cast & Characters:

I highly recommend watching this film on Netflix this weekend.

Rating: 3.5 out of 10 Stars
