The Witcher season 3 plot: What will happen? The official synopsis for the show reads: “As monarchs, mages and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it.”
Part 1 of Season 3 of The Witcher was really good.
Pros: I’m continuing to invest into what’s going on with Ceralt, Yennefer & Ciri and I liked all three of them together. The production quality was a step forward from the previous two seasons. This one had a lot of light humour and after the ending it made me look forward to part 2 of this season.
Cons: The dialogue was lacking any memorable lines. The pace was slow.
Part 2 of Season 3 of The Witcher was mediocre.
Pros: I was glad to see more of ciri’s character development moving forward. It doesn’t waste any time getting into the drama of the last 3 episodes of this season & it didn’t shy away from still delivering the violence and spectacle you expect.
Cons: Having this season split into 2 parts did distract my enthusiasm for these last 3 episodes of this season & the finale didn’t really feels like a true send off to Henry Cavill’s betrayal of Geralt.
