The plot: Debbie and Peter are best friends and total opposites. She craves routine with her son in LA, but he thrives on change in NY. When they swap houses and lives for a week they discover what they think they want might not be what they really need.
Your place or mine movie was alright.
Pros: This movie was so paint-by-numbers rom-com stuff. Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher have great chemistry. The relationship felt true to life. It does shine through in the movie and not a lot else to say.
Cons: It didn’t do a lot different with this genre of film. The other love interest for Debbie weren’t that intriguing. The film is very predictable and the dialogue was not that intriguing or innovative.
