The plot: A new couple and their families reckon with modern love amid culture clashes, societal expectations and generational differences.

The You People movie was a lot of hits and misses.

Pros: Jonah Hill was quite good as this character. I appreciate showing in this film of clashing between different cultures seeing how they can work it out. I enjoy the dialogue moments between the families Going back-and-forth throughout the movie and I enjoyed Ezra and Amira together as the newlyweds trying to work out  the relationship throughout the movie.

Cons: They use too much Racial comments and constant bickering. The comedy was really cringeworthy at times and sometimes most of the parent characters cone off inappropriate and annoying.

The Casts:

Anthony Anderson makes a cameo appearance.

I will still recommend watching this film on Netflix.

Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars
