Netflix Limited Documentary Miniseries Presents Jimmy Savile: A British Horror Story Review by Ryan Balkwill (Update)

Genre: Docu-series

Directed by Rowan Deacon

Starring: Jimmy Savile

Production company: 72 Flims

Distributor: Netflix

Plot: Jimmy Savile was one of the United Kingdom’s most beloved TV personalities. Shortly after his death in 2011, an investigation prompted more than 450 horrific allegations of sexual assault and abuse, with victims as young as 5.

The documentary was brilliant.

Pros: I say brilliant because it was wonderfully but together how much Savile pull the wall on the nation and got away with it. You will be surprised who they got to do sit-down interviews with? and also I like how perfectly paced well throughout this being just 2 episodes.

Cons: It gets sickening and disheartening to sit through at times & these 2 episodes went along a little too long.

Interviewees:

As well as colleagues, associates and victims of Savile, some of the public figures interviewed for the series include:

I recommend watching this docu-series only on Netflix.

Rating: 8 out of 10 Stars
