The plot: Jonas Taylor leads a research team on an exploratory dive into the deepest depths of the ocean. Their voyage spirals into chaos when a malevolent mining operation threatens their mission and forces them into a high-stakes battle for survival. Pitted against colossal, prehistoric sharks and relentless environmental plunderers, they must outrun, outsmart and outswim their merciless predators.
The meg sequel was terrible.
Pros: My only one good thing about this film was where everything went down in the 3rd arc.
Cons: This sequel went on for too long. All of the supportive characters are so boring and bland. A lot of the action scenes are so ridiculous and the main storyline wasn’t that interesting.
The full movie itself does feel like every other shark movie.

- Sienna Guillory as Hillary Driscoll, a billionaire investor who is financing Jiuming’s efforts in the Mana One but secretly hiring Montes for a deep sea mining operation.
- Melissanthi Mahut as Rigas, a security officer at Mana One.
- Whoopie Van Raam as Curtis, a diver at Mana One
