The plot: When Audrey’s business trip to Asia goes sideways, she enlists the help of Lolo, her childhood best friend, Kat, a college friend, and Deadeye, Lolo’s eccentric cousin. Their epic, no-holds-barred experience becomes a journey of bonding, friendship, belonging and wild debauchery that reveals the universal truth of what it means to know and love who you are.
The Joy Ride Movie was hilarious.
Pros: I had a blast laughing out loud at this film. The friendships with these four young women have felt really natural and relatable. Seeing this film being shot in three different countries helped benefit the film quite well. The character I enjoyed the most was Kat.
Cons: The only thing I got issues with this film was some of the jokes were too inappropriate for those who didn’t understand them.
