In Memory of Jason David Frank (1973-2022) Written by Ryan Balkwill (Update)

Dear Tommy, Thank You for getting me into kung-fu and Martial Arts where I was growing up with Power Rangers.

Jason David Frank (September 4, 1973 – November 20, 2022) was an American actor and mixed martial artist who was most notable for his career as Tommy Oliver from the Power Rangers franchise.

My best memories of Jason David Frank (Tommy the Green Ranger)

was seeing him on my television screen waking up in the morning or getting back home every time from school or my time at the great Ormond street hospital seeing the television program in many of its incarnation, and meeting meet in person at once of the comic con convention getting his autograph.

Personal life:

Frank identified as a Christian, and said he began attending church after the death of his brother, Erik. He married his first wife in 1994 and the couple had two sons and a daughter. They divorced in 2001. In 2003, he married his second wife, Tammie, and the couple had one daughter. In 2022, Tammie filed for divorce.

Frank was of Greek, Polish, Irish and German ancestry.

Death:

Frank died in Texas on November 20, 2022, at the age of 49 as a result of suicide.

Thank you, Tommy, for the memories.

“Let The Power Protect You”. From Ryan.
