Dear Mr. Gottfried. Thank you for all the laughs you gave us for years.
Gilbert Gottfried who is best known for his voice work in Aladdin as Iago The Parrot, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as Kraang, Mr. Mxyzptlk in the DC Universe and the laughs he shared by everyone doing Stand-up comedy. His antics on Saturday Night Live and he’s legendry segments on every Comedy Central Roast over the years.
And that’s how I like to remember me for.
On April 12, 2022, at the age of 67, Gottfried died in Manhattan from recurrent ventricular tachycardia, complicated by type II myotonic dystrophy.
