Synopsis: Cassie Bowden is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue.

I was intrigued to check out this new season of this show, so I can see what it had in store.

Season 2 of the flight Attendant was a mixed-bag for me.

Pros: Kaley Cuoco’s character Cassie was still relatable to root for and enjoy what’s going on with her this season. I thought some of her friends this time around were likable. Having the CIA playing a part in this season was pretty cool and there are a lot of twists & turns happening that kept me excited.

Cons: Having a second season was unnecessary. Everything involving Rosie Perez’s character wasn’t that interesting and even getting close to the end, Cassie’s clones was getting too ridiculous.

Casts & characters:

Main:

  • Kaley Cuoco as Cassie Bowden: An alcoholic flight attendant with self-destructive tendencies. She has a one night stand with a passenger in Bangkok and wakes up to his dead body the next morning. She is left to search for answers to clear her name of the murder. Audrey Grace Marshall portrays young Cassie.
  • Zosia Mamet as Annie Mouradian: A lawyer and Cassie’s best friend who assists her with her situation.
  • T. R. Knight as Davey Bowden (recurring season 2): Cassie’s older brother, with whom she has a complicated relationship.
  • Michelle Gomez as Miranda Croft (guest season 2): A mysterious woman with connections to Alex.
  • Colin Woodell as Buckley Ware, also known as Feliks (guest season 2): Cassie’s romantic interest who she meets on a bender.
  • Rosie Perez as Megan Briscoe: The team flight lead and Cassie’s friend, who has secrets of her own.
  • Deniz Akdeniz as Max (season 2; recurring season 1): Annie’s boyfriend and a hacker who helps Cassie.
  • Mo McRae as Benjamin Berry (season 2): A CIA agent who serves as Cassie’s handler.
  • Callie Hernandez as Gabrielle Diaz (season 2): Esteban’s wife and a passenger on Cassie’s flight to Berlin.
  • J.J. Soria as Esteban Diaz (season 2): Gabrielle’s husband and a passenger on Cassie’s flight to Berlin.
  • Cheryl Hines as Dot Karlson (season 2): Benjamin’s boss in the CIA.

Recurring:

I still recommend watching this season along with last season of this same show.

Rating: 6.5 out of 10 Stars
