Fubar Season 2 Review by Ryan Balkwill

Plot: FUBAR Season 2 follows Luke (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Emma (Monica Barbaro) as they are flushed out of witness protection and entangled with Luke’s terrorist ex-girlfriend, Greta (Carrie-Anne Moss), and Emma’s captivated peer, Theo (Guy Burnet). The main plot revolves around the mysterious terrorist Dante Cress, who seeks to trigger a nuclear war with Russia by disabling the U.S. power grid, and it’s eventually revealed that Theo is Dante Cress. He is ultimately killed when Emma traps him in a rocket, while Greta survives the missile’s destruction.

Season 2 of Fubar was full of hit and misses.

Pros: This one was a fast improvement over the first season. It hits the right balance with action & comedy. Chips became my new favourite character this season. Each character adds their time in the spotlight. I did chuckie quite throughout and the action can be entertaining and exciting to watch.

Cons: At times it did too much like a silly cartoon in not the best way. It does a lie on too many of 80’s style one-liners. There’s so many plotlines going on at once at got distracted. I felt cheated of not getting a proper conclusion to Carrie-Anne Moss’s Greta Nelson storyline & each episode can be tiredly long to sit through at times,
