Genre: Comedy, Drama
The plot: Everyday people flip the script on Wall Street and get rich by turning GameStop into one of the world’s hottest companies. In the middle of everything is Keith Gill, a regular guy who starts it all by sinking his life savings into the stock. When his social media posts start blowing up, so does his life and the lives of everyone following him. As a stock tip becomes a movement, everyone gets wealthy — until the billionaires fight back and both sides find their worlds turned upside down.

The dumb money movie was full of hit-and-miss.
Pros: I like all the performances in the film by Paul Dano. Pete Davidson, Shailene Woodley, Seth Rogen & others. The main drama for me in this film was everything involving trading stocks back and forth. You will feel for all the different characters in the movie and how intense it gets at times.
I enjoyed the subject matter and found it interesting, but the movie itself did drag a bit at times.
Cons: At times I felt the film jumped about from character to character too much. The movie’s subject might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
