The plot: Set in the ’30s, it follows three friends who witness a murder, become suspects themselves, and uncover one of the most outrageous plots in American history.
I was looking forward to watching this film.
The Amsterdam movie was really good.
Pros: The cast list for this film is stacked. I liked the chemistry between Bale, Robbie, and Washington together as on-screen friends. I enjoyed how the mystery was slowly coming together and being under two hours and fourteen minutes didn’t feel like I wasting my time watching it.
Cons: Throughout it got competitive at times. Timothy Olyphant didn’t do anything so impressive and some of the storytelling do feel dodgy.
