The plot: Supergirl must contend with a mysterious group called the Dark Circle as it searches for a powerful weapon held in the Legion Academy.
The legion of superheroes movie was alright.
Pros: I like the trust between Supergirl & Brainiac 5 throughout the film. I’m glad it kept the same animation style as the other Tomorrowverse movies. Seeing all the new powers that the rest of the legion members had, was a joy and I was surprised at how they used all the different brainiacs.
Cons: The rest of the legion of superheroes was not that well developed. The reveal of the mastermind behind the dark circle group was not that surprising and why was the opening scene used at the beginning instead of skipping through Supergirl’s origin?
The Casts:
I recommend watching this film on DVD or Blu-Ray.
Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars
