Child Star Documentary Movie Review by Ryan Balkwill

The plot: Examine how some of the most well-known former child stars, such as Lovato, deconstruct the highs and lows of growing up in the spotlight and how their ascension to fame, riches, and power affects their futures.

This Documentary was disappointing.

Pros: It feels good seeing a lot of these famous child stars appear on this documentary. I feel for them when they were explaining their experiences as well as Demi’s past. I got so emotional watching this throughout and it’s ends in the best way possible.

Cons: It didn’t go deep hard on the subject matter that much. I wish there was a lot longer so we can get more child actors involved they could of make this into a miniseries and this one didn’t have that much of a narrative to this one in my opinion.
