The plot: A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex and identity.
A Family affair was not that good.
Pros: I was impress with the stack casts this film had line up. Joey King was my standout from this film and every romantic comedy tropes are featured a lot in the film and some elements of the film do work.
Cons: The romancey didn’t work that well. Not a enough of smooching going on or any intimacy, It tried to juggle both storylines by ending up failing and I wanted to like but I ended up haven’t.
The Casts:
- Nicole Kidman as Brooke Harwood, a writer
- Zac Efron as Chris Cole, A Movie Star
- Joey King as Zara Ford, Brooke’s daughter
- Kathy Bates as Leila Ford, Brooke’s mother-in-law and Zara’s grandmother
- Liza Koshy as Eugenie
- Wes Jetton as Emmanuel
- Sherry Cola as Stella
I worse skip this movie.
