Argylle Movie Review by Ryan Balkwill (Spoller Alert)

The plot: Reclusive author Elly Conway writes best-selling espionage novels about a secret agent named Argylle who’s on a mission to unravel a global spy syndicate. However, when the plots of her books start to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, the line between fiction and reality begin to blur.

The argyle movie was a mix-bag.

Pros: All the actors were quite good in the movie. I like how the film is well put together production wise. I’m impressed with how the twists & turns were handled. I like how they played with the fantasy of being a spy & I like the humour quite a bit.

Cons: The plot got a bit convoluted in parts. I wish both John Cena & Henry Cavill were a part of the main story more. The action felt a lot clunky & didn’t standout to me & the final moments of the movie look terrible.

The Casts:

I highly recommend watching this film in cinemas.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Stars
