Plot: Season two of “What If…?” continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles. Featuring fan-favourite characters this season like Nebula, Hela and Happy Hogan, episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as head writer.
Season 2 of Marvel’s What-if was hit and misses.
Pros: This season was a vast improvement over the previous one. I liked how all 9 episodes took their time pacing – wise. Each episode felt more enjoyable and self-contained in each of their individual stories this time around. The voice acting was a lot better and Peggy Carter goes through a solid character arc.
Cons: Many similarities from the Movies do bum me out a bit. I didn’t get attached to Kahhori that much this season. The facial expressions on Freak did look hideous to see and the timing release for the full season felt like rushing to finish of the year.
