The Wonka movie was surprisingly good.

Pros: I was glad to lower my expectations for this movie. The musical scores helped add a lot to the movie. Timothée Chalamet was good as young Wonka. The villains were very hateful and the storytelling was way better than it’s meant to be.

Cons: Certain moments do feel rushed. Some of Timothée’s reactions in key moments did came off weak in my opinion. I didn’t like Mrs. Scrubbit and I’m disappointed that Willy Wonka wasn’t unhinged at all.

The Casts:

I recommend watching this movie in cinemas.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars
