Plot: After having a nervous breakdown that caused the cancellation of her last tour, an aspiring pop star begins a complicated relationship with a self-help guru and the head of a contemporary cult.

Season 1 of The Idol was terrible.

Pros: The only good thing about this series was having a shorter season.

Cons: I don’t care for the story of this series. The weekend was a horrible actor and his performance shows that. It failed being a psychological drama and it has lost site of what it’s trying to be, its also unengaging to watch.
