The plot: A semi-autobiographical recreation of comedian Alan Carr’s life growing up in the 1980s when his father, Graham, was manager of Northampton Town FC, focusing on the young Carr `starting his journey in this masculine world of lower league football’.

I was waiting to see this new series about Alan Carr’s younger life.

Changing Ends Series 1 was a success.

Pros: The full programme does feel like we all flashbacked to the 1980s. Oliver Savell did a great job portraying Young Alan. A handful of this series comedy comes from Young Alan’s tongue-in-cheek humour. I liked having the actual Alan Carr doing both narrating & showing up in the show and it’s funny.

Cons: My only gripe was about the finale I felt it was rushed in my opinion.

The Casts:

I highly recommend watching this series only on ITVX.

Rating: 10 out of 10 Stars
