Synopsis: Having saved Gotham, the Titans hit the road to head back to San Francisco. But after a stop in Metropolis, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a supernatural cult with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before
Part 1:
The First half of Titans Season 4 was Solid and very good.
Pros: I give it credit for taking time setting up Brother Blood as the main bad guy for the 2nd half. The supernatural effects are quite good. Jinx was a fun addition to the cast and having this season set in metropolis was a good location.
Cons: My opinion had changed watching this season first 6 episodes over again. I don’t get why they kill off Lex Luthor. I’m sad seeing Jinx gone by episode 6 and I didn’t care what was happening with star fire in this first half.
Part 2:
The 2nd Half of Titans Season 4 was let down.
Pros: I’m glad that this 2nd half continued where the first batch of episodes left off. It was fun seeing cameos from both Jason Todd, Stargirl & Doom Patrol. The angle with Conner fooling Sebastian was a good twist, posing as Lex’s replacement and the final few moments felt bittersweet.
Cons: The way Tim was handed the robin suit was disappointing. The writing feels mediocre. The Brother Blood character lost a lot of promise and most of the acting felt forced and unnatural, except from Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson / Nightwing, Mame-Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Kory Anders / Starfire, Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy and Joseph Morgan as Sebastian Sanger / Brother Blood.
