I was so excited for this new Netflix Special.

I did enjoy the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always Special.

Pros: This special did deliver what’s expected from this material.  I’m glad  both Billy & Zack take centre stage in this special. You will feel the emotions a lot throughout this film. I liked how they honoured 30 Years of Mighty Morphin and how they acknowledged the death of Trini. They have also managed to tell the whole story within the 55-minute runtime.

Cons: It does run into plenty of pacing issues, I wished this special was a little bit longer for more character development and growth, and missed the involvement of the other rangers Jason, Tommy, Kimberly who are sadly missed.

Once A Ranger, Always A Ranger.

Cast & Characters:

Rangers:

Supporting characters:

  • Richard Steven Horvitz as the voice of Alpha 8/Alpha 9, a multi-functional semi-sentient automaton from Edenoi.

Antagonists:

  • Barbara Goodson as the voice of Robo Rita Repulsa, the main antagonist for the movie.
  • Ryan Cooper as the voice of Robo Minotaur.
  • Daniel Watterson as the voice of Robo Snizzard.

I highly recommend watching this special on Netflix.
