Directed by Stephen Hopkins

Written by Virginie Brac

Executive Producers: Vincent Cassel, Gub Neal, Jean-Benoît Gillig, Sarada McDermott, Justin Thomson, Stephen Hopkins, Edward Barlow.

Plot: Two agents — and former lovers — must work together to combat international cyberattacks threatening the United Kingdom while also confronting the buried secrets of their destructive relationship.

Season 1 of Liaison was Really Good.

Pros: It doesn’t shy away from showing how dangerous cyber attacking is. It can get intense and exciting at times. Vincent Cassel and Eva Green work so well together with great chemistry and I was glued to my screen watching what’s going down on the show.

Cons: The story becomes too complicated nearer to the end of the season. The love romance with Gabriel and Alison didn’t work for me. Having each episode 50 hours long was a chore to sit through and I struggle to keep up with the pacing of this season a lot.

Casts & characters:

I recommend watching this show on Apple TV+.

Rating: 7 out of 10 Stars
